Roy Lee Caley Sr was born on March 28, 1953, the son of Willard Caley (1912–1992) and Ada Bernice (Russell) Caley (1913–1999).
He was married [1st on March 14, 1973 in Robertson County, Tennessee to Rosemary L Pulley. He was married [2nd?] to Darlene (Spann) -- (1948–2014), the daughter of Alfred Spann Jr (1925–1983) and Alma Lee "Sis" (Dunaway) Spann (1930–1997).
Roy was a member of the Howard Smiley Johnson Post 4895 and the Clarksville Veterans of Foreign Wars. He also loved fishing and the outdoors.
A resident of Southside, Montgomery County, Tennessee, he died April 2, 2016 at the age of 63.
Preceded in death by his parents, his wife Darlene, brother Robert Evert Caley (1949–2003) and by his sister Verna Bernice (Caley) Kasper, he was survived by a daughter, a married son, three stepchildren (two of them married), a special female friend, two brothers, three sisters, eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at the chapel of Spann Funeral Home, and burial was in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
